My security light won't go off...wtf... The security light has come on in my gauge cluster and won’t go off. It’s been about a month and I’m about to go insane. I’ve used a friends scanner to try and pull trouble code and no luck. I sure something needs to be reset, but I’m out of ideas. Someone please help before I have to kill myself, thanks.

this worked for me,
1- disconnect battery
2- pull these 2 fuses, they are in the fuse box under the hood, the one that is mounted higher up. PCM BAT, and ACS BAT.
3- let it set for 15 minutes or so
4- put fuses back in
5- connect battery
that worked for me, but my problem turned out to be my battery.
i did that 3 times in about a week, then my battery was dead. got a new one, didn't happen again for about 2 years
