Thumbs up Canadians stock up on GC 0w-30

Just to let you know Canadian Tire has all their Castrol Syntec oils on for 30% off. I just purchased a ton of GC 0w-30 (Made in Germany) for $5.99 instead of the usual $8.99. My local Wal-Mart had 12-14 litres for $8.54. I'll check tomorow to see if they price match.Sale only lasts 'till the end of the week so stock up.

wtf...i live in NJ...GC IS IMPORTED TO NJ! shouldn't mine be cheaper?! i hate this damn state. it already has the highest taxes and insurance rates in the country. you would figure you would at least get a break on oil since it's refined and imported here...but nooooooo..

Unless the prices he listed are in Canadian dollars. $5.49 American is $6.18 Canadian. So his $5.99 could be $5.32 American. The amount in the bottles may also be different. Canadian gallons and American gallons are different at least.

that's still more expensive than 1QUIKWS6 pays normal price.

and a gallon is a universal measurement. canadians don't different "gallons" as the US - they use the metric system, so they deal in liters. a gallon is the same size in the USA and jupiter. as long as the canadians have oil that comes in a quart size container, they get jacked on the price.

Maybe in Jupiter, but not in Canada. 1 Canadian gallon = 4.5 liters, 1 US gallon = 3.78 liters. Look it up.
