Default intake manifold question

hey guys got a quick question about my car its a 02 ls1 with no egr i just put in new intake manifold gaskets and put everything back together to find out some how my car is revs when i start it to about 2-3k rpms so my question is what did i forget to do can anyone help me out with this please thanks

sounds like a vaccuum leak. check all your vaccuum lines for a bad connection or bad lines.

i was told by a shop that i had a oil leak coming from the gasket on the intake manifold

oil leak? Sounds like you need a catch can...gotta stop the oil from getting into your intake manifold.
