Default Popup Headlight problem

I bought the brass gear and it fixed the problem well one mouth went by and the headlight problem came back. I took the head light back a part and looked at the gear and seen the headlight motor is breaking the brass gears teeth off as well. Do you guys think the headlight motor is bad and I need a new one. If so you know where I can get one. Thanks John

oh man, that sucks. you know the little metal egdes that fold over the headlight motor? make sure those are hammered flush against the motor. i read that even if you have the brass gear, teeth will still break if those aren't pushed down completely due to the fact that there would be too much sloppyness and play.

Try adjusting the tabs like was posted already. If that doesn't do it, hit up ebay for a used motor.
