How can i get better gas mileage got a 99 ss yank 4200 converter a4 transmission im gettin about 160 miles per gallon. what are some of the things i can do to get better gas mileage. do i chang the converter to a smaller one please give me help

160 miles per tank you mean? Is this around town? Freeway? Gears? How do you drive it? For sure that stall isn't helping your in town mileage, its doing nothing but slipping all the time.

Like said above, you're going to get crappy mileage in town with a stall that big, not much you can do about that. Other than that, just make sure everything is properly tuned and maintained....i.e. spark plugs/wires, air filter, fuel filter, o2 sensors. What are the rest of your mods? You may be in desperate need of computer tuning.
