Default showing age?

Car has 100k miles on it, as best I can tell, suspension components are all stock and never replaced (I think ). When coming to a stop, right as I'm ABOUT to stop, I hear a faint, deep "click" from the rear. Just once. Then it doesn't happen when I accelerate (spelling?). Other noises are faint clickings and poppings going over shitty pavement. My initial guess was that my bushings are just aged to imperfection... Along with the rest of the setup. Any thoughts?
