Steering wheel shakes during braking
Hello all,
My steering wheel shakes (sometimes violantly) under braking above 60 mph.
The car was well taken care of before I bought it, it had 89000 on the odometer, no rattles, sqeeks, you couldn't even hear the wind through the windows. Now it has 105000 and I haven't gotten the brakes check or changed. Could this be it?

I had a similar problem. For me it was a frozen pin/slider on the left front caliper. The calipers are supposed to 'float' on the pins. If the pins don't slide then both brake pads won't sit correctly on the rotor.
Even if you have a different problem make sure you lube your pins well and I suggest replacing the seals on them. Cheap insurance.
