What do you mean by "ignition relay" - the engine controls, cruise control, air conditioning relay under the hood? Almost sounds like an intermitent vats/key problem?

the ignition relay thats in the fuse box under the hood, i replaced it for the second time a couple weeks ago an it's starting to do it again, i put the key in turn it to start, nothing happens, turn it a few times again an it starts, i thought it might have been something with the vats too but my car is showing the same early symptoms that it showed before my relay went bad
