Default time for a tune up .....what spark plugs??

ok people i want to know whats the best overall plug to go with in the ls1 cars. the plugs im changing out are on a 99 and going with msd 8.5 wires.....i just wanted to hear from others and what they used cause thats the best info out there ...............thanks all for any input

Wow this one has been beat to death LOL.
But to answer your question most people here use the NGK TR55's for N\A cars.
For N20 cars TR6's are used.
Please do a search on best plugs.

I have tried the autolites and the tr55's and honestly they work about the same..So I would go with autolites just because there easier to get ahold of, like bein able to get them at walmart.

NGKs are very easy to get as well, so long as you have a NAPA close to you. They always have 'em in stock. Or you could just order a set from just about any of the sponsors on this board.

ac delco iridiums are also another choice....i run them and have no issues

well i had 2 sets of tr55's in my car since i had it and they are a good plug but i always had a very light stumble at idle like a a full stop in d with my foot on the brake i could feel it surge a little the just for the hell of it i tryed the tr55gp platinum's.
they look like iridiums the way the tip is small and my car feels like it run smother and they are only like a dollar more than regulat tr55's.
about 24 for a set
