Pulling Fuel Rails - How Do I?

Default Pulling Fuel Rails - How Do I?

Im sending my TB out to be ported this next week so my cars going to be down and Ive been thinking of polishing my stock rails.

How do they come off and go back on?

Is theer a guide someplace?

There's four bolts that hold them on the intake manifold. Undo the fuel line, electrical connectors to the injectors (push metal tab in and pull up), and 4 bolts on the rail, and it just pulls up with the injectors.

Here is directions on how to disconnect the fuel lines and the injector connectors. The 2nd and 4th photos and their respective directions pertain to you.

From there, I suggest removing the fasteners that hold the rail to the intake, then remove the black clips that hold the top of the injectors to the rail. Carefully pull the rail off each injector, leaving the injectors in the intake. With the injectors in place you will minimize debris getting into your injector bungholes .
