Default Firebird/Trans am rear impact absorber???????

Im going to be installing a Trans am Rear bumper cover on my Firebird pretty soon and was wondering if the impact absorber is the same for both. I tried to search but just kept getting a white screen

Just a FYI, The T/A bumper cover slid right over my Firebird impact absorber and bolted up fine. I have A Trans Am Impact absorber coming that I got off e-bay, Im gonna take the bumper cover back off and see if they are different. If not it was only $30 plus shipping

i would assume they are, its only different at the bottom.

I don't believe gm would make 2 differnet absorbers for the same car, not cost effective
