Default hood adjustment

on one side of my factory hood it sits about a quarter lower then the other side that sits flush with the fender. its because the rubber bump stop on the top of the adjustment screw is missing. so i went to the dealership and ordered a new one for five bucks. it comes in and there is no rubber peice on top. so he looks it back up and says that rubber peice on top isnt even included on any part. he was suprised as i was. so without this peice you cant adjust your hood anyways so why does gm sell this plastic peice withoutthe part that really matters? o and its a 98 ss.

Wow. I'm shocked that you can't get the rubber part. Honestly I thought it was all one unit.

Maybe look for someone parting out a Camaro, buy one off of them......

If your car is an SS (Firehawks also), than its an SLP hood - not GM.

Try calling SLP for the hood parts yoru looking for.
