Unhappy Many Problems Help!!!

i have a 2001 ss 97,000 miles. My ses light turned on starts flashing as soon as i hit 30 mph. I went to autozone to get a dianogstic the port was sending no reading to it .Probably a fuse not sure.Also it backfires when i start it up and ive benn burning alot of oil put in a quart 2 days ago and this morning low oil light turned on.If anyone has some advice i would greatly appreciate it.

check the compression on the cylinders....make sure a piston ring isnt gone

Flashing SES is a misfire for sure - no power at the DLC port is a blown "CIG/ACCY" fuse. Maybe the code will give you an idea which cyl it is, might just be a P0300 though, depending on what scanner AZ uses.
