Default Leaky power steering pump

It seems I have a leaky power steering pump. I have noticed that its kind of hard to turn the wheel sometimes. The fluid is at the level its supposed to be. Anything I should do before I attempt to install a newer one?

Also, I just wanted to verify. How hard is it to turn your guy's steering wheels? Is it just me or is mine hard to turn? I remember parking once and at one point the wheel was like trying to turn a rusty valve

Try putting some of that Lucas Power Steering stop leak in there. It might work, might not, but it's worth a $6 try IMO.
