Default Cylender doesn;t like spark plugs

I have been having a ticking sound for wuite some time. I recently discovered it was due to one of my spark plugs not being in all the way and fixed the problem with my trusty socket wrench. Well, my engine block seems to have spit it back out. Ticking sound returned, so I retightened and the roblem was again resolved. I noticed a couple of days ago that the ticking has returned and am left to guess that my spark plug has again been rejeted by my engine block. How can I make my engine accept and love what I stick in it?

Too much anti-seize? Take it out completely, clean all the threads before reinstalling.

Dont tighten it to much, you dont want to strip the threads. Try just a little bit of thread lock perhaps, and I mean a little, you want to be able to get it out again one day.

Swap it with another plug and see if it could be the plug. If its the plug, easy fix. If its the cylinder, try the locktite.

I replaced the plug with another one so it cant be the plug. ACtually I noticed the spark plug that I removed would not enter the cylender completely, it stuck out a half inch or so. The new one went in, stopped ticking and popped back out.
