Well i drove up to wal mart tonight and while i was driving up there i noticed that my speedometer and my Tach were going crazy and jumping around. The speedo would jump up like 10mph more than i was going and just shoot back and forth, and when i revved the car up ttach would jump along with the speedo . The guy that had this car before me i think jacked with something electronically and screwed it up completely but if yo have any ideas please let me know.
Thanks

Sounds like it is just the battery has a bad cell an no longer will hold the charge. Yes, this will effect everything like the speedo and tach, they are getting voltage spikes. I would replace battery with a new GOOD one and you will be fine. Yes, this is one of those things that does not give you warning before it goes out.

Your battery is dead. take it out and take it to autozone and have them check it. it probably has a bad cell. that is the explaination for all that weird stuff this cold weather kills batterys with a low charge. i just had to replace mine

You probably would not have been able to pull enough current through your jumper cables to start the car if the battery were completely dead (unless you were using 00 gauge welding cable jumpers). I am a little puzzled why you did not at least hear the solenoid click.
click. Either way, pulling it and having it checked will tell you if you have any dead cells.

You guys are idiots if you think his battery is dead when he has full lights and accessories, and jumping the car didnt do anything.
Are your dash lights doing anything funky? Mine wouldnt all come on until the key was in the "start" position.

Sounds like a loose battery cable to me. Just happened on our winter beater. All the lights worked perfect, but when you tried to turn it over, NOTHING. The battery will make enough contact to power the lights fine, but when you try to put 600+ amps through a connection that's not fully seated, it'll burn the spot making contact just like a welder and you'll get nothing. Disconnect the battery, clean the terminals, and reinstall them. I bet that's your problem.
