Strange Knock!!

Strange Knock!! i was driving the other night and noticed a slight knock in the engine bay. when i pulled over it sounded like it was coming from the right bank #6 cyl. the knock was steady and not to loud. when i took it to a shop they said it was coming from the top end, not the bottom. i will try to get a vid up asap but untill then would anyone have any ideas? much thanks in advance!
