Dont quote me on this, but I had a similar problem on a different car and it turned out to be the MAF. Ran fine when I would ease on the pedal and all but if I punched it, the engine would bog and RPMs climbed VERY slowly. A guy told me he had the same symptons in his GT and it was his MAF. I replaced mine and the car ran perfect. Might be worth checking into.

Try cleaning the MAF first. Just be careful with the little wires in there.

I'd guess MAF sensor needs to be cleaned...

i only have 2 of the 02's hooked up because of the lt's. Havent had the codes deleted for the back two yet? I'll check the maf but could it be the 02's as well?

Quick easy test, just disconnect the MAF and take it for a spin.

I disconnected the wiring to the maf but nothing changed still lacking all power past half throttle. Do i completely take off the maf for a mile or two? I also took it out and cleaned it with electronics cleaner and still no change. Would o2 sims for the back two 02 sensors help or is that not even close to the problem?

Just an idea don't know if it will help, have you ever replaced your front O2 sensors. I know that the actual sensor part is very sensitive. It may have been damaged during LT install, or you just may need a new maf?

o2's have nothing to do with WOT operation, they arent used at WOT.

Rule out O2's right off the bat.

O2's wont do **** for ya, they arent used in WOT operation. Dont even bother wasting your money or time dicking around with O2 sensors.

I would first check for a hairline crack in a spark plug, then the rest of the ignition system and the fuel system.

my car only has 26k on it so i don't think im due for an o2 change. ShouldI just get plugs and wires changed now since I planned on upgraded them when I get my h/c packaged?

If the car ran fine before the LT's and exhaust then something changed/happened during the install. It is highly unlikely that a part just went 'bad' during this install. I agree with brad8266. Check your plugs and wires. Maybe a plug is cracked or a couple wires are not seated all the way.

Probably a good time to change the plugs and upgrade the wires. My advice on the wires is make sure that you hear and feel the 'click' when putting the plug wires on. I was obsessive when I put my MSD's on. I insisted on hearing and feeling the click. Let us know what you find.

I craked one plug when i did my headers, it was a tiny hairline crack, but it made my car run like ****.
