Default Car runs like poop

It is a 98 formula. Problem is no codes. It idles like it has a mis and smells like gas. It is like it is flooded. When it dies it takes a couple times to get it started. I have done plugs, wires, injectors, coils, check fuel pressure, compression is good. What is the problem???

Have someone else check all those things. You didn't mention the O2's or the MAF.

Maf is good, PCM is good. Still looking. I thought 02s didn't work until the car gets warm or a certain temp.

Do you say "no codes" because the light is not on or because you verified by scanning it?

you could have a exhaust or air leak before your o2's, this would cause your computer to read unmetered air and dump more fuel into the system....

If you have a techII check the air temp sensor and the coolant temp sensor, if one of those is way off it could be dumping fuel to compensate, just a thought. Good luck -Dave

I am still having problems. With the car running we unplugged the back injectors 5,7,6,8. The car runs the same with 5,7,6,8 unplugged as it does with them plugged in. Injectors are good and noid light shows them working. It gets fire. What next???
