Can you tell if a coil pack is going bad?

Default Can you tell if a coil pack is going bad?

I seem to have a misfire on my engine. New plugs and wires.Is there a way to check the coils packs to see if one is going bad?Thanks for any info Mike.

Do you know which cylinder? If so you can swap coil packs with another cylinder and see if the misfire moves.

No. There is just a small shake to the engine at idel.Not all the time.
