Fuel spraying out of exhaust manifold
I just got done putting everything back together after doing the following:
- Fixing the intake manifold leak (hopefully)
- Replacing spark plugs
- Doing the TB coolant bypass
It started up pretty easily after 2.5 months, while I'd been working on this project, a little at a time. Almost immediately, I noticed fuel spraying out where the exhaust manifold bolts to the head. It's the back of the engine on the drivers side, so I assume it's something with #7, or maybe #5.
I double checked that the plug wires for 5 & 7 were secure on the plugs and they are.
I found this http://www.obd-codes.com/forums/385-...ode-p0303.html, which sounds very similar.
I did remove the fuel rail when I did the intake manifold leak fix. Maybe an injector got screwed up in the process? I'd be surprised, since I was so careful with the thing the whole time.
I'm either getting too much fuel or no spark, I guess, but anyone have this happen to them?
Thanks as always!
