losing voltage???
I recently put in a new alternator because my lights would dim just at idle. After the new one was put in it was fine. Now...about 4-5 months later whenever I am getting on it pretty hard in high rpms my lights go really dim but when I back off......they are fine??? Could this be the belt slipping at high rpms or the alt is going bad? I will be installing an underdrive pulley in a month and don't want to take that much more from the alt if its not working correct. Any opinions on what could be the problem?? Thanks alot!!

Seems strange it happens at high RPM's perhaps it is belt slipping, does it feel tight?
I had my lights dimming any my battery indicator on the dash was looking low, under 12V (should be 13.4ish or more) I took off the alternator to get it reconditioned, they said the alternator was fine, have I had the battery checked. It turned out to be the battery not taking charge properly.
Dont know if its thebattery in your case but its another thing to check.
There was a post on here some time ago, of a car loosing power when he launched on the start line, it turned out to be a loose battery and battery connector, when he accelerated the battery moved causing it be become disconnected breifly.
Are all your battery connectors tight?

I've had trouble before with an alt cutting out at higher RPM,
brushes worn out. Seems unlikely on a reman but you never
know. This was engine speed and not acceleration (would not
charge above 3000RPM, charged fine below that).
If it's acceleration rather than RPM that seems to do it, check
the battery hold-down or just wedge a towel in there for a
try, to keep it from rolling back and hitting the wheelhousing.
