Default Removing torx bolt by kickpanels for seatbelts...

I was trying to remove the torx (sp?) bolt by the passenger side kick panel to take the seatbelt out for a sec. I'm trying to replace the seatbelt guide that attaches to the headrest on the seat. Anyways, as I anticipated, the bolt is beginning to strip because it's torqued down pretty tight. If I go any further it will strip for sure and just won't come out. How do YOU guys do it?

Are you using the correct GM weird number bit?

It's like a 53 or 43 or some weird *** number like that.

I had a hell of time removing the bolts until I finally went out and bought the correct size one, then they just went out like it was the easiest thing in the world.

I believe the correct size is a T-47.
