JRP1978,
When I made the last post, you had started this thread in the Advanced Performance Tech Forum and that's why I made the comment that I did. It appears that a moderator has moved your thread over here where it really belongs.
As for troubleshooting the headlights, please answer the following questions:
1. Do both headlights flicker on and off or just one?
2. Does this happen on low or high beams or both?
3. Does going over bumps have any effect?
4. Do you notice any trend as to when this problem occurs?
5. Do you have a wiring diagram for your vehicle?
6. Do you know how to read a wiring diagram?
Answer these questions and I'll probably ask more questions.
Steve

The headlights flicker because the charge circuit in the alternator is cycling. Step number one is to clean the battery terminals and make sure all of the grounds are clean and tight (don't forget the ones at the back of the head). If that is not the probelm, take the alternator to a reputable alternator/motor repair facility and they will fix the regulator so that it doesn't cycle. It should come on at like 12.2 volts and then shut off at like 13.7. When the lights flicker it's coming on and shutting off in a very narrow range.
It won't affect the driveability of the car but it can be annoying.
