Default GC in Winter

I have heard that GC tends to run a little thick in the winter, especially on short trips. If I live in Texas do you think I would have a problem? Thanks!

Should be NO problem, even with the unusually colder winter you've just had. Now if you were in northern New England, or the upper midwest, then you might have to look for a slightly thinner oil. Even though it is called a 0W-30, GC is an extremely thick 30 weight oil in the upper range of the 30 weight specs, closer to a thinner 40 weight.

Thats true when its HOT, not when its cold. When its cold it acts as a 0 weight. You can't get any more free flowing than that. It will poor freely even at temperatures like -62 below.
