stripped out tranny cross member bolts

stripped out tranny cross member bolts the two on the drivers side i stripped out with an impact wrench when iwas puttin my t56 back in and i thought i was screwed till i went ahead and tryed a hexi coil and a bunch of washers and that seems to be workin but it doesnt seem like it will hold does anyone else have any input or ideas here?
