Question oil presure gauge going bad?

hey guys i have a question for you
well iv noticed that my oil presure gauge has started to flicker a bit.
oil presure is fine so im just wondering if its the sending unit or the gauge in the cluster?
its steady when cruseing at any speed but it will flicker at idle but if i give a little gas it acts normal.
it seems like its sticking
thanks homies

Everything I've read says that your sending unit usually causes that. Mine does the same thing when it's hot at idle. Been that way since I got it a couple of years ago. Highway speeds I'm usually around 45-50 psi solid with GC 0w30.

ahhh its really not that bad...ten bolts....but you do have to have a certain wrench to fit over the sending unit...
