For a 4L60E?
I would not recommend synthetic. Use regular Dextron III.
You can go to a shop to have the trans fluid fully flushed (about $50-100), or you can drop the pan and change the filter yourself, but that will only drain 4-5 quarts of fluid, which is less than half the total fluid capacity. But if you drop the pan often, then a full flush probably isn't necessary.

No transaxle in your F-body.
Dexcool is the factory recommended coolant.
Diff fluid had different factory recommendations depending on year. Recommended for '98 is conventional 80w90 with GM limited slip additive. For '99+ is synthetic 75w90 with GM limited slip additive.

IMO, Chuck is one of the best 4L60E builders in the country. I'll stick with his recommendation.
