Default PS or Transmission fluid in coolant?

A friend of mine just purchased a 99 Z28 and I noticed that the hoses were all soaked through with oil. After further inspection it looks like there is transmission fluid in the coolant, especially in the overflow. How common is it for the cooling line in the radiator to leak? What about the power steering cooler? I've pressurized the lines going into the radiator and they seem to hold pressure as well as the ps cooler. I also pressurized the the cooling system with a pressure tester and am not showing any bubbles in the ps resevoir.

Is there any other way that oil/transmission fluid can get into the cooling system? It looks like transmission fluid. If all else fails, we'll just drive the car and watch the level of the transmission and ps fluids.

PS coolers have been leaking alot here lately. I'd bet that it's the culprit.

Change the P/S cooler....I have personally had the same problem and know many others that have also had the problem. I fixed the problem for good though.Ordered a cheap fluid cooler from summit and took the P/S out of the system
