Default No Start?

After sitting i try to start the car. i get nothing. i have discovered that just by holding the key forward and the clutch down it will eventually start. 30+ seconds. sometimes a bit quicker. I've tried everything from jiggling, to lifting my foot off the clutch, to turning the car off and starting again. The car always starts but just takes time. Anyone ever hear of this?

It may be fuel related. If you haven't changed your fuel filter, now would be the time. It's part of maintenance, so it doesn't hurt and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

fuel filter has been changed. think it may be electrical. just wondering if this happens when ignition switches go bad.
