Head unit "SEEK" button...won't light up!

Default Head unit "SEEK" button...won't light up!

Ok,......friend has another issue with his Camaro. K.....the 'SEEK' button on his head unit won't light up. ...My question is,....what is the "propper" way to check and fix that?

There are tiny little bulbs behind the fascia of the head unit...you'd have to take it out, pop that fascia off, and solder in a new bulb. I bet if you PM LS1_SS about it he might be able to help, he put some bulbs into a headunit of mine a while ago.

So wait,........solder?.....so you can't just pull the bad one out and put in a new one like a plug and play action? You actually have to solder it in?

actually, all of mine have finally gone out,im just going to buy an aftermarket head unit.

I have No soldering experience whatsoever!!..Is there another way to fix this problem? (aside from get'n another head unit!!
