Default Removing Washer Res. ??

I was just wondering if there is anything special to do when removing the washer fluid resivior?? I noticed that there is like a vacuum line going to it. I dont have AIR system anymore and it looks like thats where is routes to. Should I plug the hole or rip it all out?? Thanks for any help.
