Default My gf crashes at the local 1/8 mile

Well i dont know where to post this, but something terrible happened to my car at the 1/8 mile track today, everything was going good until I let my gf drag race my car for the second time since she was so excited, well to make long story short she crashed my car and messed up my bumber, fender, clear corners, a headlight and my hood wont open, and i dont know what to do, it took me alot of money before to replace the bumper and get the whole car painted 3 months ago, I want to know of a good place to get all these parts at a great price, and i dont want no taiwan imitations, also what else should I check when u have a wreck.

After you beat her, call some local junk yards and see if they have anything.

No offense to the ladys on the forums either, I dont let *anyone* else drive my car. I might consider letting another LS1 owner or another 300+hp owner take it for a spin but only with myself in the car.

Sorry about your car man, I sympathize. Will insurance even cover that since you were at a track? But yeah junk yards your best bet. I don't know much but I've heard an accident can be harsh on your tranny also, but mostly just pray and be sure the frame isn't bent. Your lucky if the airbags didn't deploy.

Then that would be fraud and you'd really be in some deep ****. Most insurance policies specifically state they do not cover the vehicle at a track or during a timed event. Don't try and lie about it, it will catch up with you one day.

How did it happen? Did she get sideways or what?

PS I would be making her cough up the money for it.
