question about ngk plugs
do ngk gpower platinum plugs have to be gapped for a ls1. it just hads lt headers and a lid. and if so what do they have to be gapped to?

gap every thing. Even if they say they are "pre gaped" Its all bull ****. get a feeler gauge and gap those things. Let me look for the right distance. Some one else might beat me to it though.

They all won't be gapped at .059. You need to regap them regardless. With your mods .055 would be sufficient enough.

Always check them even if they're pregrapped. You don't know how many times the case or the individual box the plug was in got dropped, or how far off the tooling might have been at the factory. It only takes a second and could save you the time of troubleshooting a misfire problem later.
