Default Marble sounds and sparks?

OK, so here's the scoop.

I did my spark plug change and during this process, I dropped my 3" extension down into the engine bay. Now I see that whenever I stop short or launch hard, the gauges sweep and the car loses all power. I look underneath the hood and by the 3rd-4th spark plug on the PASSENGER side I see sparks when I rev it up. Could that be the extension touching something, or am I looking at a totally different problem?

Also, I managed to lose my passenger side EGR tube gasket, and it seems that when I accelerate, I hear a sound similar to marbles hitting each other. I already ordered another gasket, but could this be a different problem as well?

your arching off the starter wires, you'll either blowup your battery, or short out wires in your ignition system

I lost the Pass side EGR gasket for mine as well. I used a little high-temp RTV sealant seal it back up and have had no problems. Your gasket probably droped into the same spot mine did and is forever out of reach until you rip out the motor (hahaha).

I got that damned thing out. The marble sound is still there, but now the car appears to be fine. It starts right up.

Anyone have a clue about that "marble" sound?? I only hear it from roughly 1500-2300RPM

I figured it out. It was an exhaust leak.
