Default 2002 temp guage

I had a 98 w the REAL guage, what is f'd up on this one, the guage or the sending unit ? you know its always at 210 ?

The 99+ are all like that, it will climb in an overheating condition though. The 98 also had a 3 pin ECT, later just have 2 pins. Never seen a fix - except for an aftermarket gauge.
