Default AC keeps blowing fuses

Maybe someone has had this problem before. My ac will blow the fuse as soon as i turn the ****. I replaced it with a new fuse and also a new relay. Blows them both. What would cause this and how can i fix it? I need to fix this b/c down here in Georgia its getting pretty hot!

yup sounds like a bad clutch coil to me also. But also check your electric fans. You may have a bad fan motor.thats really the only things that would pull enough amprage to hurt the relay and the fuse.

nope, clutch and compressor are just fine....

i started by unplugging the compressor and then put a new fuse in.....fuse blew again so eliminated the compressor all together.....then i knew that the cruise control is on the same fuse so i unplugged that and then the fuse did not blow.....so then i plugged the compressor back in and now the ac works perfect. So im out cruise control but i never used it anyways so im happy. So if it ever happens to anyone else...unplug the cruise and see what happens
