Default Crap, what did I do to my TA??

Here is the situation, I had 2 fat asses in my car. 1 weighs 245 1 weighs 235 and they helped my car to bottom out on a mountain road. Immediately after everytime I come to a COMPLETE stop and start from first gear I her a clunk/grind sound from underneath me and the passenger.` IT last for about a full second, only at the beginning of first gear, not any other gear. No whine or howl or clunk noises while driving, and fropm all acoounts it sounds like it is coming from under me and/or the passenger.

Sounds like the metal/rubber tranny mount on the crossmember.

I broke my driveshaft 2 weeks ago, believe me, you'll know it. It'll scare the **** out of you with the sounds it makes. Plus the car won't move lol

If it's broken you can probably just get under and push up on the tranny and wash it move. You'll also be able to see it just by looking at the mount. Should be torn.

If it is your tranny mount you don't even have to jack the car up to tell, when you pull out you will see your shifter lifting up a pretty good distance and what you hear is your tranny lifting up and hitting the underside of your car.

Guys, it's not the trannymount. After further examination(driving it around the block 35 times) it seems to be a problem with the clutch. Here is the deal. When I let it out of first realll slow and let the car slowly start I get no sound. When I hold the clutch a little and release it makes the grind/clunk sound. When I REALLY hold the clutch at about 3/4 and give her gas and release it clunks and grinds pretty good the whole time. Most of the noise is from under me. Car has 01-02 master slave and cylinder and had a LS7/LS2 clutch combo installed last year about 10k miles ago.......any ideas now??

also checked driveshaft for play that would indicate u-joints and checked motor mounts. there is only one trans mount correct? right behind the bellhousing? that on is not torn and i couldnt even budge the trans.

great now the car won't start, well it starts but immediately sputters while I'm holding in the clutch and dies out. If I start and let the clutch all the way out it dies. Lots of gas smell too, I have an ORY but it seems to be more gas smell than normal. Turn the key, sputter sputter tries to get going and dies....WTF???
