Default question about oil pressure

ok well i was out driving and got in to a race and i noticed after i was done racing my oil pressure dropped some most of the time its at 40 or a little over 40 now its a little under 40. i left the car cool down 20 mins and started it back up it went up a little bit but its still under 40. is that normal?

Possibly low on oil. I found this occurance when i was a little bit low after running my car hard before the low oil light ever came on.

ooo so you think its just a little low on oil and from running it is what made it occor to drop some oil pressure. and from racing can you blow a paper header gasket?
