Problem.
Ok, My Trans Am has been acting funny ever since i got it. i bought the car about a month ago. it is a 1995 lt1 a4. every time i try to floor car car from a dead stop or rarely a >10 mph roll the car will basicly act like it has traction control, once the car actually died. the engine basicly dies, rpm's drop drasticly, but comes back to life. my fuel pump went out, but was replaced. that was not the problem. some of the dash lights come on too. "secutrity", also, the ABS light is always on.
please help, this is a really frustrating problem. i really love this car...

Clogged injectors?
Vacuum leak?
If its bad TPS the car will still run pretty much fine, it goes to speed density tune. Mine went and the car ran perfect, I even unplugged it and it ran perfect. And no SES light, but it did show up on the scan.

Carb cleaner. While your engine is running spray small squirts of carb cleaner near any common leak points (i.e. fuel injectors, manifold gaskets, vacuum fittings) if there is a leak and you hit with some spray your idle will smooth out a bit. Try to get the carb cleaner with the red tube that attatches to the nozzle.
