Fans are always on???
Just this past Sunday my SES light came on, I also noticed that the fans are running non stop from the moment the car starts up till the time I shut it off. I am going to buy the obd1 to obd2 connector this thursday so I can scan the code but I thought I'd post here and try to get some early insight to this problem. LMK what you guys think it may be, thx.

I am not expecting someone to know what code I am throwing. I just wanted to see if anyone may know why my fans are running non stop.

Fans on all the time, with SES and no response at the diagnostic connector can mean the EEPROM is corrupted in the PCM, and the PCM is in limp-mode. While developing our hand-held I toasted more then a couple LT1 PCMs, and that was the symptom.
If that is indeed the problem, the fix is to desolder the EEPROMs, manually reprogram them, then either resolder them to the board, or solder chip sockets on the board and plug the chips back in.

An open wire in your coolant temp sensor circuit or an erroneous signal from the same. Since the PCM doesn't know your current coolant temp it turns the fans on. Better to run too cold than overheat. My .02

Thx for your suggestions guys I really do appreciate them.
And keliente you are clearly stating the obvious which we all already know but if you feel the need to add to your post count then go ahead.
