ABS light on????
i recently got some new tires for the rear of my 2000 T/A-i put 235/60/16s on instead of the 245/50/16. would this cause the abs light and brake light to come on? it doesnt stay on but both lights come on periodically.

yes the 235/60 is a 27" tall tire.. 245/50 is a 25.5" tire. that that much of a difference bewteen front and rear its enough to mess with the ABS and make it dissable itself hence the ABS light. that is why in order to keep the ABS happy you need to have tires that are within .5" to .75" advertised tire height from what I've found.

The abs connector and distrubtion block on the passanger underside of the car behind the rear seat on an lt1 is natorious for wiggleing loose and throwing the abs light. On a ls car im not sure if they have the same problem, but its something to look at.
