Your yipe is hitting the floor board cause mine did the same thing. I purchased a heater clamp and heater hose and wrapped it around the area of the ypipe where its most tightest (my ypipe ory was basically touching my floorboard so i put mine right under where the driver seat is). this should be a quick fix bro.

no trust me its not the ypipe hitting because i took it to a exhaust shop and they found out where it was hitting and had the pipe heated and flatend the pipe out some. plus i had the pipe hit before and its not that.

If it's not that, I just fixed a ticking sound myself. It turned out to be the 8th plug being bad. Not the spark plug itself but the plug. Which I replaced and now the ticking has gone away.

Did you replace all the plugs as well? The plugs that connect to your spark plugs to the coil paks?

Just listened to your clip but it's hard to hear the ticking sound. Does it tip at idle?

It could be an exhaust leak. I'm actually removing the EGR and air this weekend to clean up the engine bay a bit.

Just an idea when I installed my long tubes, one of the tubes was rubbing against a huge factory weld on the k-member I cut it off with a saws-all and no more noise...

ticking sound is probably exhaust leak. check all gasket areas. check AIR tube gaskets, if you still have AIR system.

when the other guy says "plug" I guess he means spark plug wire (????).

it was clamped but now its weldedbut i still got the 2 clamps on the collecoor to the ypipe but there really tight on on there. so i dont see how it could leak. you think from still having the stock catback its creating alot of backpressure and making it leak. like it only does it on the one side

you will have to listen more closely to find the area it it coming from. the place where the AIR tube connects has two 10mm bolts. there is a gasket that goes there that can cause a ticking sound if it is not sealed.
