Default Throwing MAF code after header install

Basically installed pacesetter longtubes everything hooked up properly now throwing P0102 MAF Circuit Low Frequency how do i fix it already tried new maf bought a granatelli. also causing hesistation problems and backfiring. please help plates due in june on 99 Z28

So wait i am confused. You were throwing the code before you got the new MAF?

Check your "ENG SEN" fuse to make sure it's not blown. If it is look for a burnt/accing 02 sensor wire on the header somewhere.

My car is doing the same thing but my code is PO103 MAF circuit high frequency its on a 99 SS.

probably something between the O2's and MAF is going bat ****

Yes i was throwing the code before and after the new maf. i even went back to the stock one again cause dealership suggested it didnt change anything though also i have new o2s those are no problem just this stupid maf sensor and that hesitation is getting old quick

Did you check the fuse? The MAF, 02, skip shift sol, reverse lockout sol are all on that circuit. www.gearchatter.com/viewtopic8916.php

fuse was fried changed it and my service light went out and the car is runnin fine for right now thanks for the help i was killin myself over a fuse

mine did the exact same thing......but it went deeper then the fuse

check your o2 wires under your car now, make sure there not melted or anything other wire for that matter....it will throw a short to the pcm....

my o2 wires melted and blew out the fuse
