i got a low oil light after i installe dthe trans i inspected the sensor and the plug all fine.. or maybe it needs a new gasget

Did you unplug it or something? Shouldn't need a new gasket unless it's leaking???? Once the low oil light comes on (usually when 2 qts low) it will remain on until the oil level is corrected, PCM sees 194* ECT, then key is off for a minimum of one hour.
