Turn signal and speaker issues
Issue #1: Turn signal bulb burns out quickly after putting in a new bulb. The socket is pretty nasty. Will cleaning it help? If so, clean it with what?
Issue #2: After installing the Autotrix passenger power window kit, I now have static emanating from that door speaker. In addition, in my atttempts to route the wiring to the door I loosened the rubber tube which guides the wires between the door and the kick panel. I've fought with the tube to no avail. Suggestions for the static and to properly re-seat that rubber tube?
Thanks!
Jim

Are you sure the turn signal housing isn't cracked, I used to replace bulbs weekly because of that. It also made the socket nasty but after changing the housing it stopped despite me not cleaing on the socket.
