HELP p1870 in a 99 blazer

Default HELP p1870 in a 99 blazer

hey yall my wifes car is a 99 trailblazer....the car shift perfectly most of the time....unless you are making a long trip 300+ miles....now we make this trip from indianapolis to ft campbell kentucky 2 time a month and this is the first time it has thrown a code....after about 270 miles when we finaly get into the town driving the tranny slips 1-2 gear just barely....i did a search on google and people seem to think its the PCC valve? anyone have any comments or ever dealt with this problem before...how much is this going to cost me?

ive never seen that code, are you sure thats the number?....is the vehicle not shifting right?....if it doesnt over long trips you might just need to flush the tranny and replace the filter, crap builds up....

Most likely a worn TCC regulator valve bore in the valve body. Replace the valve body or install a Sonnax TCC regulator valve repair kit. This is the most common cause of this code. Also flush the trans.
