Default Something rattling

Something on the pass. side front is rattling like crazy. Everytime I put on the brakes lightly, I hear it. But if I mash the brakes, I hear nothing. If I repeatedly "tap" the brakes lightly it makes a chonk chonk chonk sound and it sounds like ****. Also, everytime I hit a seam on the highway or a bump in the road, it sounds like I'm bottoming out. Could that be the shocks (struts)? Any help would be appreciated!

Worn out struts?? I don't know though, that brake thing is kinda weird...

Maybe with more info someone will be able to help you out...

I'm assuming you have gotten underneath the car and checked everything out.....if it all looks good, then it is most likely struts, because you can't 'see' a worn out strut like you can a broken part...

I wouldn't drive it like that. If you can't see what it is take it to a Midas or somewhere with ASE certified mechanics and usually they'll put it on a lift and diagnose it for free. Then you can just fix it yourself once you know what it is.
