power steering problem

Default power steering problem

ok here it is my power steering get really hard to turn when the car is at a dead stop or when I'm slowing down to turn, but the fluid is full no leaks and it doesnt make a whineing sound what could be the prob guys thanks???

Mine has always been really hard to turn. I just figured they were all like that & was just suppose to be that way. Steering makes no strange noises the power steering fluid is topped off. My stang sure wasn't this stiff. Sure makes it hard to turn sitting still. I've heard that the power steering in F-bodies is bad about going out, thats way the factory started putting small coolers on the Z's. Mine is a 02.
