Default coolant temps are rising....

i let the car idle today for about 15 min. air was on because i had my dog in the car but when i hopped back in my scanmaster said coolant temp was 216! i have a 160 stat and fans turn on at 180. after about 3 miles the temps dropped down to around 180-185 but it still seems that 216 is a little on the high side. maybe need to flush it out? the coolant is fairly new as i put a new radiator in about a month ago but i only drained what i had to.

fan control switch wont do any good. my fans turn on at 180. i checked the level tonight and it was a bit low so i topped it off-we will see how it runs tomorrow.

btw i already have a fan switch.
